Casting Foundry Litostroj Potisje

Equipment of production have benn installed in Foundry in 1978, and have been bought in Great Britain from the Company "MAVEREX". The Capacity of the foundry are 6.000 tons of grey and nodular iron castings per year. Production is going on two lines. Forms of the sample parts are made handmanual with cores and forms using furan pitsh.

The casting are from 20kg up to 21000kg. Using mashine making forms, on the infinitely line for serial production.

Melting kapacities

Two net-frequency electro-induction crucible furnaces, each with 3,2 tons capacity and two receiver channel furnaces each of 21 tons capacity.

Quality control

It's laboratory is able to perform specific quality analysis of castings as chemical analysis by spectrometer, metalography and mechanical analysis as well.

Pattern manufactoring

The patterns are manufactured from wood and synthetic plastic materials according to drawings and specifications provided by customers.
