We are proud to present that Litostroj Potisje has delivered a special horizontal turning lathe PD2000-6000SM with cyclical control to DJERDAP Hydropower in Serbia in July 2012. This lathe is designed for turning, drilling and milling of blades (guide vanes, wicket gates, turbine blades).

Casting Foundry Litostroj Potisje
Equipment of production have benn installed in Foundry in 1978, and have been bought in Great Britain from the Company "MAVEREX". The Capacity of the foundry are 6.000 tons of grey and nodular iron castings per year.
Production is going on two lines. Forms of the sample parts are made handmanual with cores and forms using furan pitsh. The casting are from 20kg up to 21000kg. Using mashine making forms, on the infinitely line for serial production. Read more >>

2008
Litostroj Potisje Ltd. in the first half of 2008 has had a good improvement in terms of an extended enterprise.
The company has expanded investment with 7197 square meters workshop and 5962 square meter assembly hall. Today, production of machine tools has 13,000 square meters of enclosed space. Number of machines in the machine park is 91.
1985
The peak in the development of production of machine tools was the late eighties when the production of machine tools were over 1100 employees (total in the POTISJE 2000 workers) in any such capacity to produce over 100 per month lathe type PA or the USA and 4-5 pieces of heavy lathes.
1980
The development of the lathe in seventies enriched and CNC lathes types of PNK and then in 1980 in cooperation with the company is Germany HESTIKA types of PH.
1970
One of the most attractive program was the production of automatic machines based on cooperation with the firm GILDEMEISTER, which is a program introduced seventies.
Production of heavy lathes began in seventies with PA and PD types.
1962
A major step was a license purchase in 1962 of the Italian manufacturer MORANDO, that made the company worldwide.
1924
Tradition is based in Ada also casting back to the beginning of last century. The first test casting in Ada has happened in the workshop 24/12/1924 Kovač and Terteli.
1921
Manufacture of machine tools in Ada dates back to early last century. The beginnings and foundations of the production of machine tools dating from 1921 and soon began with the production of lathes.
First project of turning lathe was implemented in 1921. The drive for the lathe is provided by one gasoline engine and a small steam engine.
Experience in manufacturing machine tools comes from the founders and to the workshop Kelemen Ištvan, Varga Šandor and Ištvan Terteli.
